So I decided to develop a combination of a few of the ideas, I didn't do the first one because although I love the shape I had real trouble figuring out interesting surface detail for the serpent tail. so this one is a combination of 2and 4. I think I'm going to hunch it a bit more.

dude, don't give up the Geiger you had going in that first page, you had some really sick anatomy tricks going on, i like the new one, just seems like as a forum we're all inherently stuck on the same anatomy

OK so I combined the first sketch with the last one, using the body type with the surface detail. I'll try and do a more finished concept this evening, thanks for the feedback

i like the last one best, tho i think u should add some extra arms or something to make him look more viscious, right now he looks more like a footsoldier, id say pimp him out a bit so he can kick some of the other contributions asses!

Wow, this guy looks awesome. I actually liked him better with legs.

If you do go with the snake body, I definitely think you should make it a bit thicker. Really good stuff man. Keep it up.

I love the mouth with the extra hole in the cheek, really wicked looking!

What kind of texture are you going for over the body? I picture him with a sleak surface kind of like the aliens from the alien trilogy.

Nice work man! Keep pushing, if you keep evolving at this pace it's going to be awesome! I'm glad you returned the bulk to his shoulders, and I love the gnarly head with multiple mouths. I think the snake tail is the weak link right now.
